Ohad Maiman is a New York based Philosopher and Artist. Following 3 years of service in the IDF Special Forces, Maiman has traveled the Far East and South America extensively; eventually settling in New York in the summer of '99; Graduated at Columbia University in Philosophy and Visual Arts '03.

I came across Ohad's photography during an afternoon kayaking the rivers of Google. I first began reading his writings and was overwhelmed by their philosophical madness. So much though that I couldn't stop myself from reading more. But the moment my eyes were slapped with the vivid colors and faces looking back at me through his photographs, I knew I had found a treasure online. His eye is capturing a moment, an expression-- sparks intruigue in my mind and washes it down with sheer beauty.

The series Water & Earth was like dessert before dinner, and the Wonder I & II series is a textbook filled with honey-dipped knowledge.

These images are timeless, they are life in action, a moment paused, a story to be told a thousand times over. This was what has inspired me so much by the artists ability to capture, as well as his taste in displaying and sharing his art, provoking us to further his reach and share this fine artist with you.
